The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join its service team and provide facility maintenance duties within its government facilities in Saskatchewan.

As a service-oriented team member, you will perform facility maintenance duties, including operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and cleaning building mechanical HVAC systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs. You will ensure facilities and equipment are safe and meet operating standards for HVAC, life safety equipment, and direct digital controls (DDC/Pneumatic).

The successful candidate will have knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), automated building management systems, and direct digital controls (DDC). This position requires knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and safe practices of mechanical and electrical systems. You will have the ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience working with HVAC systems. You will be required to work a total of 37.33 hours/week, averaged over 4 weeks.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
