Nest Investments is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings by performing routine maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for making adjustments and minor repairs to systems, contacting tradespersons for major repairs, and performing minor repairs on appliances.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
