Job Summary


Brandt is seeking a Corporate Product Manager – Vac Trucks for Western Canada to develop and implement a strategy to position the company as the leading dealer in the Vac market, measured by increased market share of current and new customer business.



About the Role


This position is responsible for working with the sales team to build knowledge and understanding of the Vac market, assisting Territory Managers on sales calls, and creating a high level of confidence amongst customers through expertise, sense of urgency, and reliability.



Responsibilities



  2. Develop and implement a strategy to position Brandt as the leading dealer in the Vac market.
  3. Work with the sales team to build knowledge and understanding of the Vac market.
  4. Assist Territory Managers on sales calls by evaluating customer needs and matching them to the proper equipment.
  5. Create a high level of confidence amongst customers through expertise, sense of urgency, and reliability.
  6. Provide competitive analysis for all Vac product lines to create powerful sales tools.
  7. Provide product demonstration support for sales teams to ensure a safe and optimal Vac performance.
  8. Provide and monitor training for all new and existing territory managers as required.
  9. Assist with and/or deliver customer training, including product start-ups and new-crew training.
  10. Be the liaison between the company and manufacturer, providing feedback on competitive product intelligence and sales team effectiveness.


Requirements



  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal-driven individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to lead group presentations and product training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a valid driver's license and drivers abstract.
  • A valid passport is required to travel internationally, and bilingual English & French is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' prior experience in a related field, with mechanical aptitude and experience working in a construction jobsite environment.
