Job Title: Senior Compliance Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Infrastructure Specialist to join our client; a top 5 bank in Downtown Toronto. This role is critical in supporting our efforts to build a robust compliance framework that meets regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement key control tests: As per Enterprise Testing (ET) guidance, you will be responsible for designing and executing key control tests. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Build and maintain a central repository for testing documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing around business controls, focusing on all non-financial risks.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to design infrastructure capable of effective risk assessment within the first line of defense.
  • Identify gaps in current audit automation infrastructure and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Standardize procedure documentation to ensure consistency across business units.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in compliance risk space: You should have a strong background in compliance risk within the financial industry.
  • Building compliance frameworks: Experience in building compliance frameworks from scratch is essential.
  • Regulatory understanding: Solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to monitoring and testing controls.
