Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Community Disability Services will oversee and manage services for people with disabilities, supporting the future vision of service development and delivery. This role will supervise and support direct reports, develop and administer policies and procedures, and ensure the organization's practices comply with policies, contracts, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to Human Services
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role providing employee performance management
  • Value, respect, and support the rights of people of all abilities
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relations and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Use of vehicle for work required (multiple worksites in Lethbridge)
  • Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, required upon hire

Bonus Qualifications, Experience, Skills:

  • Supervisory and Leadership education and/or training certificates
  • Experience working with Government of Alberta human services funding sources/contracts
  • Human Resource Management training and experience
