Job Title: Crew Chief

Top Aces is a leading provider of advanced adversary air (ADAIR) and joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) training services to allied forces around the globe. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Chief to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the work of aircraft maintenance technicians and engineers
  • Coordinate the assignment of personnel to maximize production flow
  • Perform annual assessments of assigned crew members
  • Ensure airworthiness and safety policies, processes, and standards are adhered to
  • Provide on-site training and coaching to maintenance personnel
  • Ensure work safety standards are complied with
  • Manage aircraft and related maintenance records
  • Exercise 'ownership' of assigned area of responsibility
Requirements:
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with flight and maintenance operations
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead a team in a high-tempo environment
  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to resolve issues proactively
  • Hold a valid Transport Canada M2 license (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of AMS (asset)
  • Proven track record of supporting and leading safe operations
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
Working Conditions:
  • Travel required for the position
  • International travel may also be required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules according to flight operations
Security Clearance Requirements:

Position requires II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program or equivalent in the U.S. or NATO
