Flooring Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team at Designer Flooring as a Floor Layer's Helper. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Load and Unload Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, including concrete and asphalt, from vehicles and equipment.
- Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Help to set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
- Mix and Apply Materials: Assist in mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt, and spreading materials as needed.
- Support Medical Examiner: Provide assistance to the medical examiner as required.
- Level Earth and Perform Maintenance: Help to level earth to fine grade specifications and perform routine maintenance work.
- Clean Up Spills and Debris: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- Operate Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Sort and Stack Goods: Sort, crate, and stack goods as required.
This role will involve working in various locations, including industrial, commercial, and residential construction sites. The work is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
