We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Flooring Assistant to join our team at Designer Flooring. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our flooring projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Operate basic material handling equipment to move products and materials.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods as needed.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. You will be required to work at various locations and may be required to travel. Steel-toed safety boots and a cellular phone are required for this role.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role.
