We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Flooring Assistant to join our team at Designer Flooring. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our flooring technicians with various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist flooring technicians with loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced technicians.
  • Help medical examiners with tasks as needed.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
