Job Title: Male Learning Disabilities Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a client who lives in their own property and requires 24/7 support. As a Male Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to enable our client to live a safe and fulfilled life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing physical interventions and support to our client as needed
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with our client and their family
  • Working collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions
  • Relevant training and qualifications in learning disabilities and/or autism
