Regional Collection Specialist

The Regional Collection Specialist is a key role within the Credit Department, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of account receivable transactions for regional branch customers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining corporate profitability and requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Communication
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely payment of accounts.
Transaction ProcessingAccurately and efficiently process, verify, and reconcile all account receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Credit and CollectionsWork closely with the Collection Manager and sales team to resolve customer issues, including short payments, NSF cheques, and account status changes.
Clerical and Administrative TasksPerform related clerical functions, such as filing, recording information, preparing reports, and checking credit applications.
Requirements- Technical Skills
Proficient in the AS400 Distribution System and Microsoft Windows operating environment.
Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively provide explanations and instructions to customers and colleagues.
Problem-Solving and Analytical SkillsStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions.
Customer Service and Product KnowledgeExcellent customer service skills, with a strong understanding of company products and services.
