Rentokil Initial is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing collections within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and resolve customer accounts in a timely and professional manner
- Identify and pursue overdue or problem accounts
- Communicate with customers to collect delinquent balances
- Document collection activity and maintain follow-up on all past due accounts
- Utilize complex debt collection software to manage accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding account information
- Provide documentation to customers as requested
- Handle cash application disputes and process credit card payments
- Maintain good customer relations and work collaboratively with various departments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of professional collection experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
