Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Head of L&D and other members of the L&D team to execute key components of our firm-wide learning and development strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-impact learning initiatives that meet identified development needs and support our L&D strategy, People & Culture strategy, and broader Firm Strategic Plan.
- Deliver learning and development programs, in person and virtually, as needed, for groups and individuals.
- Build strong and strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the firm and with external providers as needed.
- Work with the People & Culture team and leaders across the firm's Business Services Teams to assess learning and development needs and make recommendations for new and existing programs.
- Collaborate and consult on sourcing, developing, and managing the delivery of vendor-led learning and development programs, as needed.
- Lead large-scale learning and development projects, including the L&D workstream of initiatives led by our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).
- Partner with internal communications team to promote and build awareness of learning and development initiatives and align and coordinate strategic rollout of communication and training components of projects.
- Measure and report on the impact of learning initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the L&D team's knowledge, development, and use of innovative and digital learning techniques and tools, including strategic use of our learning management system.
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the L&D team.
- Develop self and maintain knowledge of relevant areas of work on an ongoing basis.
- Minimum 5 years experience in L&D in corporate or professional services environment.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, with professional certification or equivalent experience in learning and development.
- Experienced L&D practitioner, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact learning initiatives in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver content in an effective, engaging way both virtually and in-person, and adapt content and approach to different skill levels and audiences.
- Strong project management skills, reliably and consistently delivering on agreed objectives and commitments.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, including in virtual and hybrid environments.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to establish and redefine priorities.
- High standards for own and others' work, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, creative, and innovative; focused on finding solutions.
- Keeps knowledge and skills up to date, passionate about development for self, team, and the firm.
- Fluency in French and English preferred.
