Job Summary:

The Group Home Worker will provide support and care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a group home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as housekeeping, food preparation, and personal care.
  • Provide emotional support and promote independence in clients.
  • Supervise activities of clients and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications and provide first aid as needed.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate.
  • Medication Administration Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and Child Abuse Registry check.
Working Conditions:

The Group Home Worker will work in a group home setting, providing support and care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
