Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will provide high-quality patient-focused care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, Day Surgery, and Endoscopy areas.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years recent combined clinical experience in Day Surgery, Operating Room, and/or Endoscopy.
- Perianesthesia Certificate and Perioperative Certificate.
- Current C.P.R. certification.
- Other relevant courses considered an asset.
