Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Assurance team in Vernon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries
  • Performing audits and assurance engagements for private companies and non-profit organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and responding to their requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in their professional development

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Completed CPA designation or 2021 CFE writer
  • 3 years of audit and assurance experience in the public accounting industry, particularly on ASPE or ASNPO files
  • Experience working with private and non-profit industries and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • Strong teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $56,000 - $75,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development, including reimbursement of exam fees and enrollment in Canada's leading CFE prep course.
