Role Overview

This senior position plays a crucial role in driving sales and profitability within our retail stores. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong merchandising knowledge, and experience in managing teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, recruit, onboard, train, develop, and provide succession planning for store staff in partnership with Store Managers.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including approving time-off requests, pay changes, and location or title adjustments.
Commercial Focus

The Senior Fashion Retail Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales through joint operational and commercial focus, ensuring the highest level of profitability within the department. This includes:

  1. Taking action to drive sales growth and optimize profitability.
Operations and Performance

Effective scheduling of staff within the department will be essential to meeting business needs and achieving store goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling staff according to business needs and adjusting hours as necessary.
  • Working with sales and cost plans, budgets, and other available tools to make informed business decisions.
  • Ensuring cash office operational functions are completed efficiently.
Customer Service Excellence

Maintaining high-quality customer service will be critical to delivering an exceptional shopping experience for each customer. The Senior Fashion Retail Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing best-in-class customer service, modeling the 5 basic demands on the selling floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash point.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong merchandising skills, with the ability to drive business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledge.
  • Experience in administering progressive discipline processes and performance management.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. All employees receive a staff discount card, redeemable across H&M Group brands in stores and online. Additional local market benefits may apply.
