About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at Simply Biscotti. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our bakery team, ensuring the highest quality products are produced, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal production and minimize waste.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 bakery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring timely delivery of products and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and evaluate bakery staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
