Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
    • Utilize a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, to promote student understanding and retention.
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Classroom Management
    • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect, empathy, and open communication.
    • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and orderly learning space.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject matter expertise.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years of teaching experience in a similar educational setting.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.
