Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to join our team at Kingston Christian School Society. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, empathy, and a love of learning among students.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, colleagues, and school administrators, working together to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in education, attending workshops and conferences to enhance teaching skills and stay current with curriculum developments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar educational setting.
  • Certifications: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate.
  • Specialization: Mathematics.
