About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Professional to join our team at the Academy of Learning College. As a College Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and contributing to their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Deliver lectures and presentations to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
    • Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring that course materials are relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with curriculum standards.
    • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic development.
  • Course Development and Management
    • Design and develop new courses, programs, and curriculum materials, ensuring that they meet the needs of our students and the requirements of our accrediting agencies.
    • Manage course schedules, ensuring that classes are well-organized and run smoothly.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic policies and procedures.
  • Student Support and Advising
    • Provide academic advising and guidance to students, helping them to set and achieve their academic goals.
    • Support students with special needs, ensuring that they have equal access to educational opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Professional Development and Community Engagement
    • Stay current with developments in your field, attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
    • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities, promoting the Academy of Learning College and its programs.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement community-based projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a teaching or educational role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other educational technologies.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality educational programs and services.
