We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team in the New Westminster Primary Care Clinic. Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic investigations, and develop and implement treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to admit and discharge patients to facilities as needed.
- Prescribe medications within statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions.
- Supervise and educate other nursing and healthcare personnel, and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to critically assess and evaluate health research literature to determine best practices.
- Ability to lead a team and work within a team environment.
