Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Riyasat Indian Restaurant & Bar Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain inventory levels and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high culinary standards.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high pressure to meet customer demand.
  • Stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
