About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Provincial Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wellbeing strategy, you will play a vital role in promoting the holistic wellbeing of the healthcare workforce.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system and/or in a directly related role in healthcare. A bachelor's degree in a health-related field is also required.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies that promote the wellbeing of the healthcare workforce. This includes providing psychological supports, education, and training to the healthcare workforce.

A strong understanding of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing is essential for this role.

You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders including Service Delivery Organizations, Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health (OESH), Shared Health, Manitoba Health, and other health providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies
  • Provide psychological supports, education, and training to the healthcare workforce
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system and/or in a directly related role in healthcare

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a permanent full-time position. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan.
