Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies that promote holistic wellbeing of the ERS workforce.
  • Lead day-to-day activities that support the provincial wellbeing strategy, including providing psychological supports, education, and training to the ERS workforce.
  • Serve as a role model and change agent for the organizational culture and vision of workplace wellbeing.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system and/or in a directly related role in healthcare.
  • Minimum three (3) years' clinical experience working within Emergency Response Services.
  • First responder/emergency management experience is an asset.
  • Mental health background is an asset.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field).
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.

Certification/Licensure/Registration:

  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
  • A valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle is required.
