About the Role
As a Cleaning and Maintenance Professional at Compass Early Learning and Care, you will work in a dynamic team to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the program team to maintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing equipment, furniture, and materials.
- Demonstrate respect for spaces by ensuring the safety and cleanliness of all areas, including mopping, dusting, and steam cleaning.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of cleaning protocols, including the use of cleaners, disinfectants, and sanitizers.
- Communicate effectively with program leads to ensure that all health and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Standard First Aid/CPR Level C
- Updated Vulnerable Sector Check
- Updated Immunizations/Refusal of Affidavit
- Understanding of WHMIS and Safe Cleaning Procedures
