Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Welland, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and will be required to lift heavy objects. You must be physically demanding and have excellent attention to detail.
