Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Taco Factory Bar and Lounge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high standards of quality and service are maintained.
  • Food and Beverage Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, manage inventory, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and beverage operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
