Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at OmniCoil Spring Works Inc. in a permanent position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and experience working with computer-controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts, as well as set up and adjust production machinery.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including CNC machines, to produce high-quality parts.
  • Verify dimensions of parts and products using precision measuring instruments, and document any deviations from specifications.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, enter codes for CNC machine tools, and move products using forklifts or cranes.
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in precision machining, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
