About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at OmniCoil Spring Works Inc. as a CNC Machinist - Precision Equipment. As a CNC Machine Operator - Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machinery: Safely operate and maintain complex machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, to produce high-quality products.
  • Read and Interpret Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Repair and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Set Up and Adjust Production: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet production requirements.
  • Inspect and Test Products: Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality and specifications standards.
  • Document and Report: Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Language: English.

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and meeting tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to multitask, and have strong leadership skills.
