As a Mechanical and Electrical Operations Manager at Pomerleau Construction, you will be responsible for managing several activities and deadlines to gain a clearer picture of client, team, and project needs. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects, you will make a significant impact on our projects by developing a talented team and staying closely engaged with individual projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically support the project team with planning and coordination for all on-site mechanical and electrical activities while keeping compliance of specifications, requirements, and codes top of mind.
  • Put your proactive problem-solving skills to work to coordinate all relevant drawings and information to eliminate interference issues.
  • Utilize your passion for organization through the maintenance of schedule requirements and priorities, mechanical and electrical RFI's, shop drawings, contracts, and project completion documents.
  • Collaborate with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to share your mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Be the go-to person for the organization and facilitation of mechanical and electrical coordination and interference meetings.
  • Compile and complete companywide project reports.

Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the ICI construction industry.
  • A University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration.
