We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings, including long-term care facilities and community-based health services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care, implementing interventions as needed to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver resident-centered care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset.
