Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient assessment, education, and treatment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Administer chemotherapy and health promotion activities to cancer patients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Patient Services to plan, implement, and evaluate programs and services.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • CNA Oncology Certification or eligibility.
  • Clinical experience in an Oncology/Outpatient Chemotherapy adult setting or 3 years Acute Care nursing experience in a specialty care Unit.
  • British Columbia Cancer Agency Chemotherapy Certification or equivalent Chemotherapy certification from a recognized Cancer Agency.
