Job Title: Logistics Driver
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at Roomy Logistics. As a Logistics Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
- AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
- Criminal record check.
- Flexibility, judgement, organized, and reliability.
