Job Title: Truck Driver

Roomy Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with varying weather conditions and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
