Truck Driver

Roomy Logistics is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle condition and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensuring secure and safe transportation, and tarping cargo as required.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining open communication channels throughout the transportation process.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with colleagues to optimize routes, minimize fuel consumption, and ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Qualifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), and a valid driver's license.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Work Environment: 35 hours per week, with a focus on a safe and healthy work environment.
