With a focus on creating a compassionate and inclusive environment, this role plays a critical part in the management and coordination of the Mackenzie Health Spiritual Care Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a best-practice spiritual care program that reflects the diversity of our community and aligns with our organization's strategic plan.
  • Provide respectful and culturally sensitive care that supports patients', families', and staff's diverse religious, spiritual, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a Psycho-Spiritual Care Student Program under the standards of the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC/ACSS).
Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in Spiritual Care or Spiritually Oriented Clinical Counselling or Psycho-Spiritual Therapy.
  • Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner or Certified Psycho-Spiritual Therapist with experience in Supervised Pastoral Education (SPE) and ability to conduct SPE programs according to CASC/ACSS standards.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • Certified Supervisor-Educator by the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care.

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This role also comes with opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic healthcare organization.
