Job Summary

Lindsay Firehouse Subs is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management
  • Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control
  • Hire and manage food service staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in food service management or a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and customer focus
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing business needs
