Job Title: Lead IT Application Specialist Technical Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead IT Application Specialist to join our team at Geotab Inc. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining our critical enterprise IT applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical projects and act as an escalation point for complex application issues
  • Mentor other IT Applications Specialists and work with the manager to set the direction of the team
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and continuously research and implement best practices
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise IT applications, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience with Cloud Platforms, container runtimes, and container orchestration tools
  • 5+ years of experience with GitOps using platforms like Flux, ArgoCD, and Helm
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD design and infrastructure, on GitLab
  • Excellent client-facing skills and communication
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure
