Job Summary
Lone Star Texas Grill is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef Leader to oversee all aspects of the daily operations in our kitchen.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, leadership skills, and the ability to train and coach a team of committed restaurant employees.
We are looking for someone who can maintain the highest standards of food and workplace safety while making fresh food in-house every day.

Lone Star Texas Grill is a restaurant that serves award-winning Tex-Mex dishes, including sizzling fajitas and AAA steaks.
Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of the daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
- Supervision of the prep cooks and line cooks to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dishes.
- Leadership and coaching of the culinary team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Development and implementation of menu items, recipes, and cooking techniques to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaboration with other managers and staff to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
- Recruitment, training, and development of new team members to support the growth of the restaurant.
- Management of employee schedules, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of achieving business objectives, improving sales, and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with inventory management, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications such as Food Safety or First Aid would be an asset.
What We Offer
Lone Star Texas Grill offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
