Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Assist in the management of software development projects, including requirements gathering, documenting software specifications, and tracking work items and bugs.
  • Software Development: Write, modify, integrate, and test application source code against predefined specifications.
  • Web Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications that adhere to modern web and security best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in a team, collaborating with other developers or technical staff on the design, development, architecture or maintenance of software.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Documentation: Develop reports, prepare manuals and write other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Programming Languages: Experience with one or more of the following object-oriented programming languages: C# or Java.
  • Web Development Languages: Experience with all the following web-oriented languages: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Database Management: Experience with one or more of the following structured query language variants: MS-SQL, MySQL, or PL/SQL.
  • Version Control: Experience developing software using Visual Studio and Git version control.
  • Agile Development: Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Front-end Development: Experience as a front-end developer including using jQuery and Bootstrap.
  • MVC and Entity Framework: Experience using MVC and Entity Framework in web application development.
  • Grant and Contract Management: Experience working with grant or contract management systems.
  • CRM and SharePoint: Experience working with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM suite of tools including ADX Studio and CRM Portals, and SharePoint.
  • UI/UX Design: Experience with user interface (UI/UX) design including wireframe development for web and mobile based applications.
  • Security: Experience investigating and patching security vulnerabilities identified in web applications.
