About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Project Manager to join our team at Techtiq Software Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning
    • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of software developers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality results.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Communication
    • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members.
    • Ensure that all project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and decision records, is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that software development projects meet the required quality standards.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members.
    • Ensure that stakeholder expectations are understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development project management.
    • Proven track record of delivering software development projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
