About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Financial Literacy Coach to join our team at Good Shepherd Centres. As a Financial Literacy Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families to develop financial literacy skills and achieve financial independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized financial plans to help clients achieve their financial goals
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and group sessions to educate clients on budgeting, saving, and financial management
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address financial challenges and develop strategies to overcome them
  • Work closely with community agencies and other professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to access necessary resources and services
Requirements
  • College diploma or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong accounting and budgeting skills, with proficiency in MS Office and Great Plains
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse client populations
  • Valid G Class Driver's license and ability to travel as required
  • Fluency in a second language is an asset
  • CPR certification or willingness to be certified
