Job Summary

Hamilton College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Head Coach of Women's Lacrosse and Instructor/Assistant Professor of Physical Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the women's lacrosse program, including coaching, recruitment, scheduling, budget and roster management, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and travel planning.

Responsibilities
  • Coach the women's lacrosse team and develop a comprehensive coaching plan to achieve team goals
  • Recruit and retain talented student-athletes to build a competitive team
  • Manage the team's budget and make financial decisions to ensure the program's success
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive game plan to achieve team success
  • Teach classes in the Physical Education program and contribute to the department's curriculum development
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's or other terminal degree in hand or to be completed within 3 years. Successful college coaching experience is strongly preferred. The candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with broadly diverse student populations. A strong understanding of the NESCAC conference and its competitive landscape is also desirable.
