About this opportunity

Ericsson is seeking a seasoned Product Development Leader to join our Product Engineering Group 1 (PEG1) team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the verification and validation of 5G features on both the DU and vDU platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate test equipment and staffing requirements for PEG1.
  • Provide technical leadership in the test area, focusing on the future evolution of feature verification and eFIT areas.
  • Ensure that the Labs and Test Plants/Channels needs for the team are always met.
  • Lead improvement activities to reduce lead times and improve development efficiency.
  • Stay on top of the progress of program deliverables driven by your team.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of verification and validation in the context of 5G features on DU and vDU.
  • 10+ years of work experience in the IT Telecom industry, in a project, product, or team leadership roles.
  • Good knowledge of 3GPP-based telecommunications standards and 5G Baseband protocols.
  • At least a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with Embedded SW development or testing using Lean & Agile best practices.
  • Extensive experience working proactively and collaboratively with colleagues across the broader global organization.
