Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support students in identifying and overcoming barriers to success, connecting them with relevant resources and services.
  • Guide students in career decision-making and educational program planning, taking into account their occupational goals, academic levels, and personal circumstances.
  • Collaborate with various NorQuest departments and divisions to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring seamless support for students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant NorQuest College policies and procedures, aimed at increasing student satisfaction and completion rates.
  • Represent the college at various events, such as conferences and career fairs, promoting NorQuest's programs and services.
  • Liaise with external agencies and service providers to access resource information for learners, enhancing their educational experience.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects, contributing to the growth and development of NorQuest College and Learner Experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in student advising or a related career in post-secondary education.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft would be an asset.
