Job Title: Assessment Coordinator

Interior Health is seeking a skilled Assessment Coordinator to join our Mental Health team at the Community Health and Services Centre in Kelowna, B.C.

About the Role

This term position is until June 3, 2026. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting case management and assessment of Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions for the Children's Assessment Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive referrals for CDBC assessments and provide a detailed review and triage for assessments into appropriate assessment streams.
  • Provide direct psycho-social and family assessment, obtaining consents and collecting relevant prior assessments and history.
  • Administer appropriate instruments and measures according to standardized assessment protocols.
  • Prepare written assessments, including assessment and treatment history, as a key initial component of the assessment.
  • Advocate for clients' needs by coordinating the involvement of other team members and/or health providers.
  • Represent the program to other clinical programs and agencies as directed by the Team Leader.
