Interior Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assessment Coordinator to join our Mental Health team at the Community Health and Services Centre in Kelowna, B.C.
About the RoleThis is a term-specific, full-time position until June 3, 2026. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting case management and assessment of Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions for the Children's Assessment Network.
Key Responsibilities- Receive referrals for CDBC assessments and provide a detailed review and triage for assessments into appropriate assessment streams.
- Provide direct psycho-social and family assessment, obtaining consents and collecting relevant prior assessments and history.
- Administer appropriate instruments and measures according to standardized assessment protocols.
- Prepare written assessments, including assessment and treatment history, as a key initial component of the assessment.
- Advocate for clients' needs by coordinating the involvement of other team members and/or health providers.
- Represent the program to other clinical programs and agencies as directed by the Team Leader.
