**Job Summary**

Volker Stevin Contracting Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wastewater Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating a flush truck and performing duties as assigned to ensure that completed work is delivered according to company policies and procedures, Alberta Occupational Health and Safety, and contract specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate a flush truck and other heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the unit's cleanliness and keeping a daily logbook in compliance with the Commercial Motor Vehicle Act.
  • Responsible for the safe and effective flushing of water, storm, and sanitary pipes, and manholes.
  • Assist the Inspection Unit with daily activities, not limited to setting up of equipment, cleaning equipment, cleaning manholes, and traffic control.
  • Complete all required paperwork properly and in a timely manner.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance.
  • Perform other construction-related duties as required.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Class 3Q Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract (as per Company Policy).
  • Preferred minimum 1–3 years of experience operating a Flush or Water Truck.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, and OH&S requirements.
