About Canada Weld Test & Training Inc.

We are a leading provider of weld testing and training services, seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Testing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure quality or detect defects, establishing NDI techniques and calibration standards, and developing and interpreting radiographic film.

Job Summary

We offer a competitive salary of CAD 60,000 - CAD 80,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using various non-destructive testing techniques;
  • Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards to ensure accuracy and reliability;
  • Develop and interpret radiographic film to identify defects and anomalies;
  • Maintain test result reports and provide detailed analysis to stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control measures and improve processes;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing or a related field;
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail;
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Organized and reliable with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
